Berlin premiere of chinese opera
Berliner Festspiele: MaerzMusik, Cong Su: Welt im Quecksilberlicht
This is the premiere of my next current project i am collaborating with:
Cong Su, Mercury Light World
opera for bass, soprano, vocal ensemble and tape
after poems by Gu Cheng and words by Michael Schindhelm
16.-18. March 2006 19:30 in Hebbel am Ufer HAU1 Berlin
with Dong-Jian Gong, Li Yanan, Die Maulwerker, Renchang Fu, Chen Shi-Zheng.
Besides i am currently working for a Mozart/Hip hop project at Komische Oper Berlin, Weill: Dreigroschenoper (Three-penny opera) with Campino and Klaus-Maria Brandauer, two opera premieres and a piano recital program with works by Mozart, Schumann and Shostakovich.
